Welcome to the Guardians CCG Page

This is a site dedicated to the Guardians collectible card game released by FPG in the mid '90s. This was a great game featuring beautiful artwork and a complex battle system. The game is now out of print and some cards are extremely difficult to find.

Here you will find alternate rules and game mods (including solo play), homebrew cards, and links to other Guardians sites.

Hi!

I think, this card is quite...."insane"? Maybe, it needs the restriction: "one per shield, per space, per player".

If I can place more than one under a shield, I just only move out with 4, and almost nothing can beat it.
It's only an advice, but you may consider it.

Oh, I'm sorry, I don't have google account. My nickname is Poci.

Difficult, but not impossible. First of all, it would have to sit there and wait to be attacked for its effect to matter, but once it was known what was there a Shield could be easily constructed.

Four low vitality creatures and one or two bigger ones, with off-color or terrain bonuses, perhaps. A Tookle deck might have what's needed -- including a Female Titan for some firepower at the end.

And the Golden Fleecer is always a cool card.

That said, one per Shield (or per space for the stronghold) is definitely not unreasonable.

Could maybe be a fear based effect?
