Welcome to the Guardians CCG Page

This is a site dedicated to the Guardians collectible card game released by FPG in the mid '90s. This was a great game featuring beautiful artwork and a complex battle system. The game is now out of print and some cards are extremely difficult to find.

Here you will find alternate rules and game mods (including solo play), homebrew cards, and links to other Guardians sites.

Celestial Battlefield Card #5: Sleep

So if I have a Vitality 7 creature, I'm good (although I'll have to put it aside), but if I only, for example, a bunch of Vitality 5 creatures and I roll a six, I have to put them all on the side?

Like a non-fatal AOE which has an antidote.

Actually I'm going to have to rework the card, because it should have referred to a non-Guardian creature (Ididn't intend for Guardians to be affected).

This is like a flexible AOE, in that you might deprive an opponent of a mid-vitality attacker. The trade off is that it is basically a non-fatal AOE as you state. I'm not sure the trade-off is worth it. I think I had something else in mind when I first thought about the card. Something got transmogrified into print. I will think on this a little more.
